Ferutz exists because dried fruit deserved better company.



The question
Most chocolate fruit has no fruit inside. Paste, bits, a hint of flavour where the berry should be.
We wanted fruit you could recognize. A strawberry with its silhouette intact, wearing chocolate like it was fitted for it.
The obsessions

The whole fruit
A strawberry goes in. A strawberry comes out. No paste, no bits, no shortcuts.

The chocolate
Real chocolate, tumbled on until every curve is covered. The bag says coated. It means it.

The crunch
Freeze-drying pulls the water out and leaves the crunch in. You will hear it.
The daisy
The daisy in our name is not decoration. It is the asterisk on every promise.
The company
Ferutz is a Chef Ceber Inc. brand, run from Maple, Ontario.
Chef Ceber supplies professional kitchens for a living. That standard rides along in every bag.
How we make it
Step 01
Start with whole fruit
Whole strawberries, ready for the dryer.
Step 02
Freeze-dry to crunch
Dried until every single one crunches.
Step 03
Coat in real chocolate
Tumbled in white chocolate until evenly coated.
Step 04
Seal it airtight
Every finished batch goes straight into airtight bags.
